Shipping, Handling & Returns
Handling is the time it takes to prepare the items once the order has been received after checkout. Our handling time is 2 to 5 business days. Please note that business days do not include weekends or public holidays. If this timeframe every changes, we will notify you via a note in the banner on the top of our website.
To keep costs as low as possible and shipping reliable, we send our items via Australia Post. You will be given the option at checkout to choose regular, express post, registered post or international post. You will be entitled to receive FREE regular shipping within Australia if you spend over $75.00.
Please note that choosing express post does not mean that the handling time will be reduced. Zahlia Rose Designs will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged items once handed over to Australia Post. If you have any concerns regarding the tracking of your order this please contact Australia Post with your tracking number on 1800 101 318.
Regular shipping within Australia can take 5-20 business days. Most packages will arrived within the 5-10 business day window.
Express post within Australia can take 2-5 business days. Most packages will arrived within the 1-3 business day window.
International shipping: This greatly varies per country and can typically take 10-30 business days for arrival. We find most packages arrive within 2-3 weeks.
We currently offer a range of shipping options at the checkout:
- Standard regular shipping: regular domestic post with tracking (will be left at the front door if unattended) Flat rate of $8.00 Australia wide
- Express shipping: expedited domestic post, with signature on delivery required. Flat rate of $11.00 Australia wide
- Registered Post (regular): regular domestic post with tracking and signature on delivery Flat rate of $11.00 Australia wide
- Registered Post (express): express domestic post with tracking and signature on delivery Flat rate of $14.00 Australia wide
- International shipping: Shipping times and prices vary by country please refer to options that show as available to you at checkout.
- FREE regular domestic shipping: If you spend over $75.00 your order qualifies for FREE regular domestic shipping with tracking (will be left at the front door if unattended).No code needed automatically applied at checkout.
Returns & Exchanges
Please choose carefully as Zahlia Rose Designs does not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. Dimensions and extensive descriptions are stated on the website for this reason. If you have any queries about a particular product, please contact us via a private message on our socials (link here) or via email@example.com before purchasing.
Due to hygiene reasons, we strictly can not accept returns on earrings.
How is my parcel sent?
All items are sent via Australia Post (within Australia). At checkout, you will be given various shipping options. Please ensure you choose your option carefully as these can not be changed after checkout. This postage price includes not only the Aus Post shipping itself but also the protective packaging for our beautiful earrings, a post box/satchel and tracking.
Does my parcel come with tracking within Australia?
Yes. All Australian orders come with a tracking number. Once your package has been scanned into the system by Australia Post, you will receive a confirmation, which will include your tracking information (Australian customers only).
Unfortunately, we can not be held responsible for any lost items, once handed over to Australia Post. If you have any queries in relation to the tracking of your parcel, please call Australia Post on 1800 101 318 with your tracking number.
Parcels returned to sender.
If your parcel is returned to us as it has not been collected from Australia Post within the time frame advised by Australia Post, OR as you listed the incorrect address at checkout, it is YOUR responsibility as a customer to pay for the parcel to be resent. We can not be held responsible for parcels that are not collected or incorrect addresses supplied.
What happens if I place multiple orders? (COMBINING SHIPPING)
If you have placed multiple orders and wish to have the shipping combined this MAY be possible depending on the time of the orders. If you place multiple orders and need them combined - you need to IMMEDIATELY email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with COMBINE ORDERS in the subject line so that the request is immediately identifiable. Please ensure that you include BOTH order numbers so that we don't have to go searching for them.
If we have not yet packaged your first order, we will be happy to combine orders for you. However, if you fail to notify us via email, OR if we have already packaged and sealed your first order, we WILL NOT be able to combine your orders and as such the second shipping cost can not be refunded.
If for some reason you need to cancel your order after it is placed, you can do so by contacting us within 24 hours, providing that your order has not been packaged/sent. Please note that a non negotiable, 10% restocking fee applies. If your order has already been packaged and the shipping label printed, postage fees will also be deducted from your refund.
